For this Throwdown we’re going to pit 2 different videos of the same song against each other, Grizzly Bear’s “Two Weeks”. The first is the video that was sanctioned by the band that features the band while the other was a fan made endeavor by a Mr. Gabe Askew. Let’s let these two bears rumble in the Throwdown!

I voted for the official video because it has a church, and because someone paid money for it.
in all honesty, i was truly captivated by the "official" video where the fan video was excellent, but felt its stylistic gimmick was the narrative and I lost interest.

You have to really admire the drive of a fan to put time and effort into something like that just for the simple fact that they felt the inspiration on hearing the song. That goes a really long way and at times is the impetus behind a great work of art.
