Battles – My Machines (Video)
One of my favorite musical discoveries this year is the band Battles. Like many folks out there I discovered the band whilst checking out a clip from Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and really dug what I saw. The bands 2011 Gloss Drop gets constant rotation on my Spotify playlists and at times really helps me get through the work day with it’s propulsive beats and intricate compositions. Much like the gooey pink substance on the album cover, Battles is candy for my brain.
The single My Machines features 80′s synthesizer god Gary Numan on vocals and this great video via The Creators Project.
