David Bazan
Today we have an interview with David Bazan. While controversial to some and always Pedro the Lion to others; he’s just a hard working dude who writes great tunes as far as we’re concerned.

We welcome David Bazan back to Sock Monkey Sound for the 2nd time to celebrate today’s release of his latest album on Barsuk records, Strange Negotiations.

David Bazan’s “Strange Negotiations” (Out May 24th, 2011) is a ten song crash course on getting conned. ‘Negotiations’ explores the emotions blindly caused by unethical behavior practiced by businesses that abuse the working class. Bazan rummages through levels of anger, passively narrating the crime(s) committed by people.
