Bjork is getting set to release her upcoming multimedia project ‘Biophelia’, a project that includes apps, an album, videos, installations, and live shows. Check out Bjork.com to hear some audio of Bjork talking about the project in-depth.

The project also includes an iPad app directed by Michel Gondry.

Manchester Orchestra preview Simple Math

Manchester Orchestra‘s new album “Simple Math” isn’t set for release until May 10th.

Bad Books collaborator and previous Sock Monkey Sound guest Kevin Devine had this to say about Manchester Orchestra leader Andy Hull on our podcast last year:

[quote]I think, like, working with Andy is really great because I think he’s a lot more… um… my instinct tells me something then my brain wins… and then sometimes it makes something really cool happen and sometimes it doesn’t. Andy’s really smart but he’s also really, um… he let’s himself be governed by his instincts in a way that I was really, um… made me think about how I wanted to approach writing the next thing I write.[/quote]
