We were really excited to hear that Sharon Van Etten had signed to Jagjaguar back in July. We’ve have been fans ever since her excellent album Epic hit our ears and doubly excited when our very own Andy Whorehall had the opportunity to interview her back in December 2010.
Now we’re anxiously awaiting the release of her follow-up Tramp, which was recorded by Aaron Dessner of The National. In addition to Dessner the album also features performances by Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner, Bryce Dessner, the Walkmen’s Matt Barrick, and Doveman’s Thomas Bartlett. (via Stereogum)
