My Embarrassing Music Yearbook
Everyone has musical skeletons in their closets and writer Shelby Mongan shares some moments from her embarrassing musical yearbook.

Who is Bon Iver?
Many of my friends are very aware of two things about me: I am a devoted Bon Iver fan, and I spend a lot of time online. Thanks to these obsessions,…

Grateful for Gershwin
Thank you, all of you, for talking about nothing, loudly, and for the football or the flu.
A day of thanks, a day remembered that whitey (pilgrims) kinda set up the Indians for a century plus of epidemic genocide with an offering of peace in the early 1600s. Oh let us give thanks for the diseases, and warfare tactics, delivered from across the seas to what was the Native American Indian’s home. Thanksgiving, sort of their Last Meal. Lest we forget our own American history, your welcome.

Talk About The Throne; America, Kanye, Jay-Z
I have many good things to say about Jay-Z & Kanye West’s recent collaboration, “Watch The Throne” but cmon- yawl won’t care to read further unless I ink n’ hint at trashing it, right? Sorry, this is as good as records get, over the top and entertaining. With that out of the way, I have nothing more to say about the Throne’s substance. The Throne’s timing- considering the rest of the world, this country, being in turmoil- is perfect and worth discussing.
