Multi-instrumentalist Paul Kintzing’s German Error Message has released the new single In Comforting b/w Feverhead for free download via Bandcamp. Along the same lines as last years After the Warmth [also available for free], the songs have a very homey feel like the early works by Elliott Smith, Roman Candle and Either/Or; albeit with more instrumentation. Acompaning the release of the single is a DIY video for After the Warmth’s opening track We Arose.
I’m curious about how many more free releases we will see from Mr. Kintzing and crew as his profile continues to rise. Mind you, I wouldn’t mind paying at all, but it’s a nice gift that he continues to give his fans.
