Woo! They are back.
Well, they never went away. The Dirty Nil, from a town just outside of Toronto, recently released their brand new 7 single Little Metal Baby Fist/Hate Is A Stone and the fuzz is better than ever.
Their riffs are heavier, their screams are more gut-wrenching and their songs will still get you thrashing.
According to the band, the recording experience is dependent on beer, blood, broken bones, broken instruments, broken ears, inescapable loudness, screaming, unresolved girl problems, exposed wiring, no pants, no shoes, making our producer drink more than he wants to, a dirty basement, beer, fuzz, real italian pizza, ‘ladies night out’ wine, and a dozen donuts.
